How we use your details when we contact you

Who we are

Why you are hearing from us

We contact owners and managers of consultancies and project-driven firms that we think could use SUNAGO Matrix. Usually we start with SUNAGO Matrix Timesheet, which is free. Later we may tell you about other parts of SUNAGO Matrix, such as CRM, Projects, HR, resource planning and project economics, and about related services from SUNAGO Group. We contact you in your business role, about your business.

What we hold about you

Your name, job title, the firm you work for, your work email address or LinkedIn profile, the firm's website, public business register details (for example an ABN in Australia), the page where we found your details, and a record of our messages and your replies.

Where we found it

On your firm's own website, in public business registers, or on your public LinkedIn profile. We do not buy contact lists for Australia. For each person we keep a note of the page where we found the details.

Why we may use it

We only use business details that you have made public, or that your firm has published for you with your agreement, such as your public LinkedIn profile or the contact page of your firm's website. As a UAE company we follow the UAE data protection law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), which allows the use of personal data that the person has made available to the public. We also follow the rules of the country you are in. You can object to our messages at any time, and we will stop.

Assistants

Some of our messages are written or sent by an AI assistant working on behalf of Morten Fabrin, our CEO. Every such message says so. A person at SUNAGO reviews the rules and texts the assistant uses.

Who else sees it

A small number of service providers that help us run our business, under their own terms: providers of cloud hosting, email, AI assistance and our own SUNAGO Matrix system, where we keep our contact records. Some of them process data outside your country. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.

How long we keep it

If you do not reply, we delete your details 12 months after we first contacted you. If you tell us "not now", we keep them for 6 months and 30 days and then delete them. If you ask us to stop or to delete your details, we delete them, except for a short suppression note (your email's domain, a scrambled one-way code of your email address, the date and the reason) so that we never contact you again.
